Collide

I've found this semester to be more stressful, I believe, than the previous one. At least more time consuming. Multiple lit classes will do that to you, I suppose. I've been very busy lately.

I'm taking a creative writing class. It was a way for me to force myself to write. I like to write, but I never do, and when I do, I'm my own worst critic. I guess this way I can force other people to be my critics. Exciting, right?

I wanted to share a song that people have probably heard before, but maybe haven't heard in awhile. Honestly, I was thinking about it the other day, and then I heard it twice on tv after.

The first time I can actually remember hearing the song is at Journalism camp in 2004. I guess I've continued to like it. It makes me happy. There's no reason not to be happy.

The Killers - For Reasons Unknown

I like this song. And that's pretty much all I can say about it.

New Semester and Some Possible Changes

I don't know that I was prepared for class to start again. I enjoyed the little time I had to relax on my break between work and holidays. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

So, with a new semester, I'm going to start blogging again. I still want to keep the blog about music, but I'm going to incorporate other elements into the blog as well. I love music (clearly) but as the semester progressed last semester, I found myself struggling for things to talk about. So...I might try to diversify a bit. But I don't know what I'm going to say, talk about, or whatever. I might change the title, too. I'll still talk about music, but maybe not every single post...I don't know. We'll see. We shall see.

Anyway...

I found some good cd's in the buy one get one for a dollar bin at FYE. I picked up Third Eye Blind, Puddle of Mudd, and Hole. And then I bought Easy A (which I watched over break for the first time). I also got another Norah Jones CD for Christmas. Good stuff.

I hope everyone's semester's started off well! Good luck with your classes!

Part of my Christmas present: Strings and a new pedal! I haven't used the pedal yet, due to a lack of time, but I'm excited to. :)
